Have you ever heard from God.... and not really comprehended His scope?
That is exactly what happened to my husband and me!
My name is Jody Baker of International Word Fellowship. I married my husband, David in 1977. We immediately moved to Chouteau, Oklahoma where we pastored two churches. In 1986, the Lord led us to travel in ministry in the United States, as well as other nations of the world.
During the years we travelled, the Lord developed in us a love for Pastors and The Church. We saw the need for strong, Word and love-filled leaders to take their places alongside a pastor, in the Body of Christ building and edifying the Body, just as the Apostle Paul instructs us in Ephesians 4.
When I married David, he already had it in his heart to start a Bible School. Throughout the years, we would be active in an area of the U.S., and we would ask the Lord “Is this the place?” We would drive around, look at properties and dream. In “just like God” fashion, He pointed us to the exact location of the school, and you guessed it! Right back where he brought us in the beginning - Chouteau.
In 2003, in conjunction with our local pastor, we opened Word Fellowship Bible School International, with a DVD format curriculum produced by another ministry. We substituted a few of their classes with our own subjects and live teaching. We began to build the curriculum, raise up teachers, and develop God’s plan for the school in Chouteau. We have grown into a three-year, 60 subject curricula, with a staff of 30 teachers, most being graduates of the school.
This is where we thought, “mission accomplished”!
But God begin to put our eye to His scope and what He actually had in sight!
We had our eye on “one” school. He had His eye on many schools!
Since 2003 we have started and graduated schools in the nations of Guatemala, Cuba, Philippines, Kenya, India, and the United States. Our vision is to come alongside Pastors, give them the tool of the school curriculum in order to raise up leaders and ministers within their respective congregations.
The ultimate goal of this vision is for churches to start with the Word Fellowship Bible School curriculum, raise up teachers and administrators from within their own congregations and establish a continual, self-sustaining Bible school. These Bible School will then send established, anointed believers to their respective nations and other nations with the power of the gospel.
In 2013, David graduated to heaven. The vision was and is planted deep in me and I continue to carry out the plans and purposes of God for Word Fellowship Bible School International.

A lo largo de los años, estábamos activos en un área de los Estados Unidos, y le
preguntábamos al Señor: "¿Es este el lugar?" Conducíamos, mirábamos propiedades y
soñábamos. A la manera de Dios, Él nos señaló la ubicación exacta de la escuela, ¡y lo
adivinaste! Justo donde nos trajo al principio: Chouteau.
En 2003, en conjunto con nuestro pastor local, abrimos Word Fellowship Bible School
International, con un plan de estudios en formato DVD producido por otro ministerio.
Sustituimos algunas de sus clases con nuestras propias asignaturas y enseñanza en
vivo. Comenzamos a construir el plan de estudios, levantar maestros y desarrollar el
plan de Dios para la escuela en Chouteau. Nos hemos convertido en un plan de
estudios de tres años y 60 asignaturas, con un personal de 30 maestros, la mayoría
graduados de la escuela.
¡Aquí es donde pensamos, "misión cumplida"! ¡Pero Dios comenzó a poner nuestro ojo
en Su alcance y en lo que realmente tenía a la vista!
Teníamos el ojo puesto en "una" escuela. ¡Él tenía Su ojo en muchas escuelas!
Desde 2003 hemos iniciado y graduado escuelas en las naciones de Guatemala, Cuba,
Kenia, India y los Estados Unidos. Nuestra visión es acompañar a los pastores, darles
la herramienta del currículo escolar para levantar líderes y ministros dentro de sus
respectivas congregaciones.

propias congregaciones y establezcan una escuela bíblica continua y autosuficiente.

naciones y otras naciones con el poder del evangelio.
En 2013, David se graduó al cielo. La visión fue y está plantada profundamente en mí
y continúo llevando a cabo los planes y propósitos de Dios para Word Fellowship Bible
School International.
